Welcome to MPTA 2018

Microwave Photonics is an inter-disciplinary field of research that concerns the interactions between microwave and optical waves for the generation, processing, control and distribution of microwave, millimeter-wave and THz-frequency signals. Microwave photonics is currently used in a wide variety of applications such as signal generation and distribution, high-speed wireless communication networks, radar systems, sensors, and modern instrumentation. 2018 International Conference on Microwave Photonics Technology and Application (MPTA 2018) will provide a platform for the presentation of new advances in this multi-disciplinary research area, ranging from novel devices to system field trials.
